What is The PAL Pantry?

The PAL Pantry is an allergy friendly snack pantry. It's a safe place for students with Food Allergies/Celiac Disease to access a snack or treat during the school day. All of the offered snacks are free to students and are free from the top 9 allergens plus gluten.

Why is it beneficial for the staff and students?

There are times when the school cafeteria may not offer something safe for them to eat. For example, when they forget their lunch, need a quick snack to get them through the day, or the surprise birthday treat in the classroom that contains allergens. Teachers can ensure that all of their students are included in the activities, and the student can confidently enjoy a safe option. No one should ever feel excluded because of food.

What is in The PAL Pantry?

A variety of snacks and treats all free from the top 9 allergens and are Gluten Free. The Pantry only includes brands trusted by the food allergy community. Nothing processed on shared lines unless they specifically follow FDA and strict industry standard cleaning techniques. All pantry items have been researched thoroughly and triple checked that they are safe.

What is Included in the Service? 

The PAL Pantry kit includes approximately 200 allergy friendly snacks (supporting about 60 students/yr), storage cabinet, labeled bins, permission forms, inventory/log sheets, promotion ideas, materials and content, list of brands for display, delivery to schools in Georgia, and pantry setup. Inquire about schools outside of Georgia.
